The Bronze pack method
The Bronze pack method is effective but can be SLOW. Buy a bronze pack for 400 and sell everything inside starting at 150 coins. People however may not want to buy the bad bronze players and this is why it can be slow. It is however a good tactic if you have the time and patience.
The 59th minute method
This is possibly the most well known method. It is used by many people which makes it more and more harder to use. I would NOT recommend this. It is so boring as you have to scroll through page after page of players until you get to 59 minutes. The aim is to buy a player cheaper than anyone else but you will often be outbid as well. Sometimes Hundreds of pages are gone through just to be outbid in the final moments which always makes you annoyed.
the rare Silver method
Search for silvers (preferably in a good league) and bid up to 350 for them. When you re-list these players once you've got them, put the buy now price at anywhere between 450-700 depend on the player.
The rare gold method
Buying rare golds fr 550-650 and re-listing them for around 750-1000 is a great way of making coins. However once EA Tax has been taken it leaves you with smaller profits and so requires quite a lot of time and effort.
Real life performers
In Fifa Ultimate Team the impact of players doing well in real life WILL increase the player price. If you see a player score a few goals or make a few great assists and you know he's going to be the talking point of the weekend you need to act fast. Saturday someone i know managed to watch the Chelsea Spurs game. As soon as Mata scored his second goal he decided it was time to act. he bought about 25 Juan Matas for around 37k each. Bought them as fast as he could.
By the time Match of the Day was on, the cheapest you could pick him up for was 43k Buy It Now. he sold all of his for at least 44k depending on what formation and position. If you minus EA Tax he made 4800 minimum on each which equates to 120k profit in the space of just a few hours. Lewandoski increased 5k recently after the 4-0 win over Real Madrid, so this method works well.

price locking
Effort. Buying so much of one player that there are literally only yours on the market. This is hard to accomplish and you need courage to try it or risk losing thousends of coins. However, if it does work you could find yourself making 250k quite easily. Tip 1 - Dot increase the price too much. Tip 2 - DOnt price lock bad players like bronze players and cheap silvers and golds as no own would really want them and they will not sell.
