FUT Tactics
FUT - Packs
Do you really want packs? Packs are a scam used to make money for fifa. The chances are so slim of getting even a remotely decent player are so slim that I don't even think you should bother. In my experiences I have opened many packs and the best player I have got is Eto’o. He only sells for 10k maximum and so this isn't much of a profit. Also paid packs with fifa points are also more likely to receive better layers than non-paid packs paid with only fifa coins. Packs are simply not worth it. It would be better to buy a player that you actually want than waste thousands of coins on packs.
Fut - Fitness + Contracts ...
Building Up on things like contracts and fitness is an effective method of saying money in the long run. Buying Fitness coaches increases your value increased when a fitness item is used. For example I've got 36% total in all mine and so when a gold fitness item is used in my team, instead of increasing their fitness by 60 it increases it by 81. This allows more money to be saved in the long runs as fitness would not have to be brought as often. This is the same with contracts. You have to buy many managers to stay in your club. However, contracts is more expensive. This is if you are planning in playing matches often and not rotating your squad so they all lose fitness often.
Fut - more than one account
This is a good tactic. It allows another 30 trading places but also allows you to split your coins so you dont lose everything if you get hacked or have a problem accessing your other accounts. Always make sure you know the e-mails and passwords though.
FUT - the importance of pace
Its not just me who thinks this but pace is the main type in the Ultimate Team option. Quick attackers let you easily outpace the slow defence and allow 2 on 1's, 3 on 1's or just a 1 on 1. But if a player here has 50 pace he would not be able to do this. Quick defenders are also key. This stops the other team pacing your defence and makes defending a whole lot similar.
Defending
Learn to defend
Sounds boring but its key. If you cannot defend, like i used to couldn't, then expect to lose. Work on your defending and then you will be able to tackle a lot easier. This mixed with some pace is virtually unstoppable in the defense.
Defending against pace
To defend against pace make sure you don't pull your centre backs out of position. Never contain or secondary contain with them. Reduce space behind your defence by setting up a custom tactic, lowering pressure and setting your defence to cover.
defending against passers
To defend against passing players, don't bother pressing the ball if your opponent is passing it around in their own half. Let them do it and keep your shape. Use RB/R1 to secondary contain the player on the ball and move your selected player into position to cover a pass or run.
defending against TECHNICAL players
Use the radar to see where spaces are opening up and fill those gaps! To defend against technical players, make sure you don't dive in - that's what they want you to do! Stand your ground and let the game tackle for you.
defending against skillers
Goad your opponent into doing a skill move, then tackle them when the opportunity arises. Remind yourself that you're playing against a skiller! They are far more likely to try a spectacular goal than a simple tap in. Expect this and change your game accordingly.
Attacking
Power Shot
Use when in a clear position to shoot. Run onto the ball and power up your shot. Aim where you want the ball to go when powering up. Flick RS to knock the ball from under your feet for extra power. Useful when attempting a first time shot on goal.
Lob shot
Hold LB/L1 when shooting to lob the keeper. Best used when the keeper is off his line but tricky to judge. Lobbing once round the keeper is useful to prevent defenders clearing the ball off the line.
FINESSE Shot
Hold RB/R1 when shooting to open your body and curl the ball into the net. Useful if in the box and running diagonally onto goal. Apply curl with LS/Left Analogue Stick to bend the ball round the keeper and into the net near the far post.
Flair Shots - Diving HEaders, Scorpion Kicks etc.
Hold LT/L2 when shooting to pull off a contextual flair move. Useful if attempting a diving header from a cross if stretching for the ball or performing cool volleys, scorpion or bicycle kicks if facing away from goal.
